Terms & Conditions

  •  All orders must be paid for in FULL before they will be commenced or depending on the products ordered in.
  • Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.
  • To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
  • All In Stock items must be paid for up front within 24 hours or they will not be held.
  • All Browbands are guaranteed against defective or faulty .workmanship and/ or ribbon.This does not include misuse or normal wear and tear.
  • If you believe the product is defective please contact us straight away as returns must be made within 14 days and in original condition.
  • If the Browband is found to be faulty, the shipping and handling costs are not refundable but a replacement Browband will be posted free of charge.
  • As all custom Browbands are made to order- all sales are final! Our current waiting time for manufacture on any custom order product is 3-4 weeks for browbands and 4 -6 weeks hacking canes. Please do not expect a custom order to be made up overnight, orders will be made in the order that they come in. If you need something made up urgently PLEASE phone me before placing the order to ensure it can be done in the time frame you need as refunds will not be given if I can get the order out within my usual waiting period.
  • No returns on sale items!
  • We do not accept returns and no credits or refunds will be given for the incorrect choice of size or colour combinations.
    This is why we recommend that you measure your existing Browband before ordering as standard sizes may vary depending on the manufacturer.
  • You must remember that the differences in computer Hardware and Software used to view the products and ribbon die lot variations that ribbon colours on this web site may vary compared to the actual product. Elegant Equine Browbands is not responsible for ribbon colours not matching the colours you see on the screen and will not accept returns on this basis.
  • If you are in doubt about the colours shown please contact us for clarification or samples.
  • Once production on an order has been started we do not accept cancellations. If you contact us we can let you know where your order is up to and if you are able to cancel or not.
  • As we do not refund due to misuse. We recommend that you remove the Browband from the bridle after each use and do not let your horse rub while they have the browband on.
  • Do not submerge the Browband in water or use in heavy showers of rain.
  • All products will be posted Regular mail with Australia Post. If you would like express please select this in the shipping area.  Insurance and registration of your Browband is an optional extra and can be taken out at an extra cost. If this Insurance and registration in not taken out by the customer Elegant Equine Browbands will take no responsibility for lost items in the post.

Partial Refunds

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery



Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.


If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.


Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale Items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.




We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at [email protected] and send your item to:

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.


Shipping Returns

To return your product, you should mail your product to: Elegant Equine, P.O.Box 945, Coolalinga NT 0839.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
